The vessel is to be constructed with the first skin being strip planked kauri with the second and third skins being double diagonal planking sheathed with 6oz glass cloth. The interior will feature traditional varnished timber.

One of her many features will be the solid Oregon wooden mast and single junk rigged sail.

It was decided to build this small handsome vessel as a test module for junk rig sailing and set up, prior to the building of our clients 65ft junk rigged schooner. It will feature the same navy blue colour scheme as their clients vessel built by us in 2003.
